A Little Help from Our Friends…

By Mary C. Frances, Senior Associate Consultant

Over the weekend I tuned into some videos on YouTube to watch portions of the Jimmy Buffet tribute concert held last Thursday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. All the big names in music were there to celebrate the life and music of the icon we all knew as Jimmy Buffet. Even the Eagles (see my previous blog post) were there to back up the legend, Paul McCartney, as he shared that he sang “Let It Be” to Jimmy in the last week of his life.

That display of genuine affection and support got me thinking about friendships and partnerships in my own life and work. Where would I be with Ken Howard and Steve Matthews – my partners in ministry here at FaithX? I’m so grateful for both of them and the work we do together with all of you.  And where would any of us be without all of the other friends and partners who support, guide, encourage and facilitate the work that we do each day?

One of gifts that Ken has brought to FaithX (and all of you) is to make some of those relationships more structured, and he is passing that baton to Steve. Through curated partnership agreements, we are able to share with our friends and clients the folks who help make our work even better.  For instance, we couldn’t do demographics without our friends at Datastory. And you wouldn’t be reading this blog if not for the good work of our partners at Worship Times.  They send people our way when it makes sense, and we like to do the same for them – and sometimes that equates to discounts all around!

If you would like an introduction to one of our partners, let us know. Or feel free to reach out to anyone on this list and mention that FaithX sent you. We think you’ll find they are all pretty great at what they do.  We, for one, couldn’t get by without a little help from our friends.
