Germantown, MD

The FaithX Project received the Esri Partner Award for High Impact on current issues around the world, at the 2022 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) held in Palm Springs, California March 5–7, 2022. This award was presented to FaithX for compelling use of Esri technology to make an impact on current issues around the world.

The FaithX Project is a faith-based nonprofit consulting, research, and resource development practice. Its mission is to help congregations survive and thrive in challenging times through data-grounded missional discernment and planning, and more effectively engaging the neighborhoods and populations they serve. This award was in response to work FaithX has done in using interactive GIS technology to displace systemic racism in Long Island in collaboration with the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and our affiliate, Datastory.

Esri is the global leader in location intelligence with a network of over 2700 partners around the world. The award winners are organizations that have demonstrated innovative and creative ways to solve complex problems by using Esri’s ArcGIS software and those who have done exceptional work in advancing geographic information systems (GIS) technology. The FaithX Project was one of 26 Esri partners worldwide that received an achievement award at the conference.

“Esri congratulates The FaithX Project on their 2022 EPC award in recognition of their innovative work leveraging ArcGIS software,” said Robert Laudati, Director of Global Partners and Alliances at Esrii. “We are proud to partner with FaithX to foster the use of GIS technology in support of our mutual customers.”

“The FaithX Project is honored to receive Esri’s High Impact Award from Esri” said Rev. Ken Howard, founder and executive director of FaithX, “in recognition of our ground-breaking work in using interactive GIS data to create new and more enduring meaning stories to displace the false and pernicious narrative that supports systemic/structural racism.
